Beyond The Blue was established in order to provide consultancy, training and event management services to a variety of individuals, organisations and businesses.

- Providing training, advice and workshops for those people embarking on Gap Years, Independent Travel or Career Breaks. We help individuals to travel safely, with an awareness of cultural sensitivities and personal safety skills, to make the most of their experiences.
- Our Gap Year and Independent Travel Safety & Awareness workshop (GYITSA) runs over two days and provides guidance to candidates on all the main subjects they will need to plan their travels and to complete them successfully and safely.

The managers, trainers and staff at Beyond The Blue come from varying backgrounds; the police, fire service, ambulance service, universities, the licensed retail sector, private enterprise and the entertainment industry, amongst others.
Our Gap Year and Independent Travel Safety and Awareness instructors have personal experience of travel to the far flung corners of the world and an extensive network of advisers specialising in areas they have not personally visited. Countries as diverse as Mongolia and Morocco, Canada and Cambodia are among the many from which our instructors have personal experience to share with you.
Taking the extensive knowledge and experiences from all these areas, we develop services that reflect our client’s needs by tailoring them through detailed research, consultation and training needs analysis.
The one point all our services have in common is that we ensure that the client’s needs are reflected accurately in the services we provide. Our focus is on how we can change attitudes and views to ensure that clients gain an effective advantage in their areas of interest. In the case of individuals we aim to provide them with the ability to gain confidence, skills and perspective on how to best utilise their potential to their own advantage.
