We address issues of travel safety in all its forms. To address the issue of Personal Safety, day one of our Gap Year and Independent Travel Safety & Awareness workshop (GYITSA) concentrates on conflict management and resolution skills and personal safety techniques.

The emphasis is on skills that avoid conflict in the first place and resolve conflict before it turns to aggression or violence. Our personal safety techniques are low-impact, break-away and disengagement skills that allow you to create space between yourself and an aggressor and make good your escape or call for help.

Day two concentrates on the practicalities of travel planning and Cultural Awareness, addressing subjects such as Travel Health, Travel Documentation and Destination Advice. Effective travel planning is the biggest step you can take to reduce risk and complete a successful trip.

As well as our Gap Year and Independent Travel Safety & Awareness workshop we also provide training courses in other sectors dealing with Workplace Violence through Conflict Management & Resolutions training; the Security Industry; and the Licensed Retail Sector. We understand the particular needs of each sector and the different needs of each client within each sector. The advantage of working with a wide spectrum of clients, is that we bring ideas and solutions from one sector to the others where appropriate, rather then just suggesting the obvious and sometimes outdated industry specific solutions.

We employ only specialist instructors to run our workshop. All our instructors and consultants are highly experienced and work with the objective of providing you with the skills and knowledge to succeed in your chosen field.

The experience of our instructors brings the subject they are teaching to life. Our training is based on a variety of methods and comprises of open learning, classroom based learning, scenario based learning, group work and interactive discussion and so meets the preferred learning styles of all candidates.

Workshops we run for organisations or groups of candidates travelling together are tailored through a training needs analysis to meet their specific needs, allowing us to put the information into more specific context.

We seek to develop relationships with our Corporate Clients and organisations for the longer term. This allows us to continuously improve the service we offer as we develop a better understanding of your organisation over time.
