Introduction

Beyond The Blue works with many individuals and draws it’s instructors from professional bodies as varied as the University sector and the Police.

The company also uses individuals on a freelance basis, but all our instructors work directly for Beyond The Blue and not for sub-contracted companies.

All our instructors are people with a great deal of experience in their field, including; the fire service, police, security industry, entertainments industry, licensed retail sector, the ambulance service, environmental health, catering, Universities and blue chip companies, amongst others.

Our instructors for our Gap Year and Independent Travel Safety & Awareness workshop (GYITSA) are highly experienced travellers. They have experience of travelling to destinations across the world and use this knowledge to help candidates prepare for their own adventures.

Before we take on any new employees or freelance instructors, we always ensure their credentials are suitably high, for the standards we expect. None are placed in teaching roles without being trained themselves and even once this process has been completed, we initially place an experienced instructor alongside them until we are satisfied they can teach the course on their own, to our high standards.

Our bottom line is that our clients should never to have concern about who their instructor will be. We are not a company that will come in and demonstrate with an experienced instructor on the first contract and send a new instructor the second time. Our goal is consistent excellent service.
