First Aid Training

Beyond The Blue is not a registered First Aid training centre; however we work closely with a first aid provider and can arrange for first aid courses to be run at your company, organisation or premises.

The provider we use is one with whom we have been working for over ten years and in whom we have complete confidence. In this time they have presided over more then a thousand trained individuals we have worked with in the past and all our first aid trained employees have been trained by them.

We recommend our Appointed First Aid course to any group about to undertake independent travel. First aid skills are an extremely useful life tool and never more so then when far away from home in a foreign country where qualified help may be far away.

The skills to deal with injury as the result of accident can make a substantial difference to the recovery / survival process.

The first aid courses available are the following packages:

• Appointed Persons First Aid - One Day Course - Covers the basic emergency first aid techniques and gives a basic understanding for non designate First Aiders. Certificate valid for one year.



• First Aid at Work - Four Day Course - Covers the full first aid at work curriculum for your Designated First Aiders and covers in detail all the first aid requirements for the work place. Certificate valid for three years.



• Refresher Course - Two Days - To refresh the knowledge of the first aid at work - four day course. Refresher courses should be taken three years after the original four day course, to maintain your skills and retain the title of Designated First Aider. Certificate valid for three years.

At Beyond The Blue we run all our courses to suit the needs of individual clients, we design them to be appropriate and relevant to the candidates attending. The basis of our first aid courses for people or groups undertaking travel concentrates on those first aid skills candidates will most commonly require, in the course of their travels.
